Bill Thompson is a humorist of the first order steeped in the tradition of a Southern storyteller whether
sitting with friends and family on the front porch in the evening, around the wood stove at the country
store or on the benches around the courthouse square. Sometimes he writes these stories in books,
magazine or newspaper columns. But the best way to experience Bill’s gift of communicating with
others is to listen to the man himself as his rich voice tells of the people, places and events that have
shaped his life as the quintessential Southern Gentleman.
